Everyday we hear messages of “love your body” and “body positivity,” but what people don’t realize is that it is a HUGE task to actually do that. Our bodies are so much more than what they look like – they carry us through our day, they’re how we give birth and take care of our children; we’re basically walking and talking miracles.
Here at the UM Club we’re not talking about body positivity, we’re talking about body ACCEPTANCE, and acknowledging all the amazing things our bodies do for us every damn day. We’re here to live and love life, and our bodies are the tools that let us do that, so let’s start treating them like the amazing things they are!
If you want to hear some amazing women talk about body acceptance and how to start our journey towards it, make sure to check out (episode with Marie-Pier) and (Episode with Nicole). These amazing women had so much knowledge – and you might even recognise their names in the quotes below!
